I installed slitaz on an old netbook (Acer One ZG5) that was a little too slow for lubuntu, and it worked perfectly without any problems. When for fun I tried to run it on my main computer (Acer M1200, Athlon 64 X2 4400+, 3 GB, GeForce 9300 GE) it only boots up into the commandline prompt and I have to ctrl+shift+f6 in order to get into X. So the desktop is running, but it doesn't automatically start up into it. Why is that? I'm booting slitaz 4.0 from a live usb made with Universal-USB-Installer-1.9.2.4.

hi birger70,
I have a same problem with my computer asus, but once installed no problem.
I think it's problem with DRI driver not correctly initialyze. Then don't switch automatically to desktop.Posted 11 years ago #
