Hi guys,
I have WLAN card with Atheros chipset (according airmon-ng it uses the ath9k driver). Monitor Mode works fine, airodump-ng works fine too, I can also replay and capture packages, as well as crack a WEP key. This all works fine.
BUT, when I just want to normally (in managed mode) connect to my AP, using the GUI network managers from Slitaz, it is VERY unstable and most of the time it does not work at all, I don't even get an IP. This is quite bad, because I'd like to read some documentation via interface wlan0 while working with aircrack on interface mon0. But it does not work, even if I have completely stopped the monitoring.
When I boot up Windows 7 and connect to my AP, it works perfectly thoughj (100% signal quality). So it is not the problem with the AP, nor any problem with my position (I'm not too far away or something like this).
Could you please give me some hints how to trouble shoot? Or anybody experience similar?
