All the packages mentioned by alanyih are to be found in cook.slitaz.org/next/ with this or a newer version.
But where does kernel 4.17.7 come from?
Some time ago I updated SliTaz next from its repository and have that kernel version since then, but cannot find it in a repository now.
To get a running SliTaz with kernel 4.17.7, would it not be sufficient to take the packages from cook.slitaz.org/next/ and this kernel to build an ISO file?Posted 5 years ago # -

Are the following statements correct?
1. Recipes for SliTaz next for both variants (32 bit and 64 bit) are in wok-next
2. Packages for 32 bit resp. 64 bit variant are build in cook.slitaz.org/next resp. cook.slitaz.org/next64 and stored in mirror1.slitaz.org/packages/next resp. mirror1.slitaz.org/packages/next64
In wok-next I see a recipe for glib 2.58.2 for a package without problems.
In July 2018 linux-4.17.7-x86_64 was build.
Why was the version in the recipe in wok-next reverted to 4.14.85?Posted 5 years ago # -

@Alanyih
why use kernel-4.4.1 ?
No there any motive to choice it, simple I'm a newmbie on a compilation kernel...
Only goal of my post is the upgrade seem not compatible with old version of slitaz, and this are not good for my opinion.
My kernel config proposal are simple example to make new kernel compatible.
That's it. :)

Great ! simple && compatibleKISS - Keep It Simple Stupid
The KISS principle states that most systems work best
if they are kept simple rather than made complicated;
therefore, simplicity should be a key goal in design,
and unnecessary complexity should be avoided.
