I generally believe in trying something yourself then deciding if it's good enough to meet your needs.
But to add to mojo's list: Opacity Support, Different colour palettes for elements, ability to set the colours, support for multiple input methods, the ability to add a background to the terminal, several visual customization options, full screen option and most importantly, a scroll bar.
Personally, the ability to scroll and copy and paste is the most important functions a terminal needs (and which xterm doesn't provide properly).

wieso angeber? ich bin bisher nur noch nicht in die verlegenheit gekommen, oder bin einfach noch nicht drauf gekommen, wie es sinnvoll zu nutzen ist.Posted 13 years ago # -

A joke! You trumpet out that you do not need it. For me the copy-and-paste ability is important, too many mistakes with xterm under Slitaz. But I do not want to laugh about beginners who want fancy surfaces. I know from my job that 99% of all people judge the quality of any software from their estimation: how handsome does it look like?
Think of the screenlets example here! Youngsters want it, it is cool looking... ok, some tolerance for that attitude is not bad.Posted 13 years ago #
