Had a look and it seems yasm was the missing requirement, so I added it. The package should be rebuilt in the next few hours and be in the repository by tomorrow.

Reinstalled Deadbeef. Still does't read .ape files. At all.

Can you provide a sample file? Maybe the plugins need to be rebuilt too. I'll get on that. Funny enough the stand-alone version on the deadbeef site doesn't have these issues.
