Cooking 20140216 - fails to boot on P4

Hello,

Just black screen and a blinking cursor after post on my old Pentium 4 Box, SliTaz 4.0 installed on HDD however HDD disconnected momentarily.

Looks like a corrupted boot loader...

That or something with Kernel

If it was the kernel it wouldn't have booted. This is sounds more like something involving the X environment.

Turn off KMS frame buffer acceleration.

Follow these directions:

Highlight SliTaz Live at boot menu.

Hit tab key

Add nomodeset to bootcode.

Hit Enter key to boot

Trixar, it did not boot, After post, after bios post, blinking cursor appears.

mojo, I am unsure what KMS frame buffer is.
