Help with streamtuner and vlc

Hi I managed to install streamtuner and vlc but can't get any sound out when I click on tune in.

VLC opens but not getting the stream. I tried entering the stream into vlc but it comes up an error and says see log file for more details. Where is the log file ? and does anyone know hot to fix this?
