Is there a way to build a loram iso from the Cooking iso?

Hi

It seems TazLiTo has been built for single rootfs images only. I built some from the current Cooking iso in different ways and then use the [c]build-loram[/c] command. But all trials I've made ended by a kernel panic...

No chance or did I miss something?

Never tried this,but according to Pascal Bellard meta flavors are supported.

Meta flavors are supported; you can loramize a slitaz-3in1.iso !

In the low-ram CD guide you wrote :

[*]slitaz-loram-cdrom will move the /usr tree onto the cdrom

/usr will be read-only. If the package funionfs or aufs is installed you will have read-write access to /usr.

Not sure to understand correctly. If /usr is installed onto the cdrom, it won't be possible to have a write access. Or is it depending of the RAM detected at boot: if enough /usr will be installed in RAM as explain in the slitaz-loram Auto-Extraction section?

It is possible to have a CD be "open" for writing just as with a USB, it's just that in most cases people choose to close the disk for writing making it read-only, but it's just a data storage medium like any other.

If you install funionfs or aufs that should enable read+write access, but I'm not sure how that works on CDROM. If you're in doubt, just write the complete iso image (with aufs or funionfs) to a USB and you're sure to have a read+write system.
