ZFS in SliTaz

I've been working with SliTaz at my work for some time now, and while it serves its purpose for most of the things we do, there's a single point where it does not fulfill our needs: Storage.

So the thing is, I dug through the mercurial repositories hosted on hg.slitaz.org, and found wok-undigest, where zfs{-dev,-src} are located, but to my dismay, they did not built. Now I've searched around for a solution to this issue, and I could not easily resolve it.

If anyone could fix SliTaz up with a working zfs package, or point me in the right direction, it would be great.

I am very much willing to help, but after spending a week feeling stupid looking at the errors the compiler spewed out, I must say I am in need of help.
