Can someone else check this out:

Ran the live stable

Did not update or download anything from the package manager.

Installed source file of RKhunter

Ran     rkhunter -c

Reported : Ambient (ark) rootkit

Rebooted into debian

ran RKhunter

Everything proved clean

Re: rootkit?

This is because the default iso contains some executable code. Basically, you can rename it to slitaz.exe and it will function as a Live Media creation tool. This seems to be detected as a rootkit by some programs, but it's a false positive.
