Midi Apps

Hi there.

Is there a simple sequencer/score editor that you can recommend? I couldn't find anything in the repository, and I haven't been able to install packages from other distros like noteedit (debian).

------

apologies, I should have posted this in the packages sub-forum. And I can't find a way to delete this post.

Re: Midi Apps

I would recommend rosegarden, but we don't have it in the repository at the moment (we so should add it though). It upped my productivity tenfold.

Re: Midi Apps

Thanks for your reply Trixar!

I might try Rosegarden, although the download was kinda big.

I got a debian package for noteedit. Converted it to tazpkg format no problem, but it's missing "libkdeui.so.4".  I'm guessing that noteedit needs some sort of KDE infrastructure to run, but I'm not sure if KDE libraries can be easily added to slitaz? (I didn't find any KDE package in the repository either).

I also  downloaded a muse 2.0 deb package but the tazpkg converter seems to be missing something and hangs while processing it.

Re: Midi Apps

Hello,

Thanks to have added rosegarden in the repository :-)

For those that would to use it, just install the liblo package to do it working.
