Now I have booted the neomagic distro, and I am back in the box.
I also pressed [Enter] at Check Media option. It gave:
/boot/gpxe: OK
/boot/rootfs.gz BROKEN
52 files OK, 1 broken, 0 not checked

My next question is:
Could this be relatad to an issue with the download, or is one file broken even at your part?

if you check the logfile of your iso, evrything seems ok
did you check md5sum of the iso after the download?

The result of my investigation.
The md5sum at the website matches the downloaded iso.
However, on the burned disc there is also a file that contains the md5sum of every file included on the disc,(I suppose).
The file that was broken, rootfs.gz does not have the same md5sum as it is stated in the md5sum file on the disc. I also compared a couple of other files as well, and none of them matched.

Do you mean the md5sum file on the disc, or something else?

I also checked out the first download as well,SliTaz GNU/Linux 4.0 (35 Mb) - slitaz-4.0
While comparing some files from the md5sum file on this disc. They also mismatched, so probably this is not a problem.
Then I tryed out slitaz-4_0-loram-neomagic from another computer. While at the splashscreen choosing Check Media it also confirmed, /boot/rootfs.gz BROKEN.
despite that, it did boot into a graphical desktop.

Thanks to mouserunner. I just modified it a bit. I have not tried it out yet, as I have to install on hard drive. Maybe it is time to do so.
