tazpkg recharge upgrade problem...

Hello, my congratulations to all those that make this magnificent distribution of Linux.

My problem began yesterday when recharging the list of packages of applications, but newly I realized today, when seeing in the Tazpanel my list of installed applications (until yesterday more of 1000) reduced to some few ones that alone they arrive to the letter b.

Believing that making a new recharge, could solve the problem, I put hands to the work... The result is even worse, since the list has been reduced to 6 applications...!

I please ask them to advise me to be able to return the things like they were before, since now I cannot upgrade anything.

From already my gratefulness!

PD: What I believe that it is worse they are these files:

packages.desc (634 bytes).

installed.md5 (0 bytes).

If there is some form of regenerating them, although it is manually or with some script...

Re: tazpkg recharge upgrade problem...

Cook, the build bot that compiles/builds the tazpkgs and generates the package lists is broken.

See this: http://listengine.tuxfamily.org/lists.tuxfamily.org/slitaz/2011/12/msg00010.html

The incomplete packages.desc file is what tazpanel/packages front end downloads from the repo when you recharge to display what packages are available.

tazpkg uses a different list, after recharge/list-mirror says there are 3227 packages on the mirror which is more accurate.

I've installed some packages with tazpkg that were ok.
