Wireless USB Adapter- Edmiax (Realtek) RTL8192cu

I'm not real good at this and have tried everything that I knew how to do. I need DETAILED step by step instructions on how to install my RTL8192cu driver and then use it to set up my wireless network. Please help and thank you for your effort ahead of time.

PS- if there are external software, packages, etc. that need to be installed I need instructions on how to get them and then load them to make them work.

Re: Wireless USB Adapter- Edmiax (Realtek) RTL8192cu

Seems the RTL8192cu driver is included in firmware-rtlwifi package (SliTaz 4.0 ?).

Open a terminal and become root (su : root) then type

[c]tazpkg get-install firmware-rtlwifi[/c]

or with TazPanel

click on Packages

select non free in the categories on the left

select the firmware-rtlwifi package and click on [Install] button

Then, in TazPanel click on Network > wireless and configure your connection see http://doc.slitaz.org/en:handbook:networkconf#wifibox-graphical-configuration-of-the-wireless-network).

Note that after the ethernet connection won't work
