Bonjour,
Hi,
a good small distro
Is it possible to remaster the distro.
I want to add some packages for developping like, mc, python geany and create my own small distro ( I used to do this with ubuntu and linuxMint).
I teach python in my class and want to give the student a very light tool for developping
thanks for help

Hi abd_bela
Take a look here for remastering your own flavors: http://pizza.slitaz.me/

thanks for reply, But
It is not practical
especially if the connection is slow
why not put the script available to everybody

tazlito is the script used to build all slitaz isos.
tazlito is on all slitaz isos including base flavor which is only 12MB.
For building isos on your local machine all you need is tazlito and a web connection to download the tazpkgs on the distro-packages-list and their depends that are not in the packages folder that can't be repacked from the running system. Packages can't be repacked when the md5sum of a file owned by the package has changed, files are missing, or files have been modified by installation of another package.
Busybox and linux are always modified when the iso is built and can never be repacked.
Slitaz-pizza is a web front-end/queue-bot for tazlito that runs on a web server.
Too much bloat to install on a local machine for building an iso.

The scripts are publicly available in their respective repository: http://hg.slitaz.org/slitaz-pizza/
To download it, simply install mercurial, and run
[c]
$ hg clone http://hg.slitaz.org/slitaz-pizza/
[/c]

It it possible to save current running system by [c]tazusb writefs gzip[/c]. With manual edit of bootloader.
