and thought it could be a wonderfull idea to have 100percent integrated Slitaz for this machine ;D
If each gives a little for the purchase of just one of them and offer it to the Slitaz team and if the hardware (webcam;gpu;external screen ...) is fully supported and good quality; then we can say we have an official TazBook with it's logo on it 
and start to ship this computer in our lands.

Can we start a fundraising project ?
I've never heard of the firm or manufacturer. The website is not native English, therefore they are not an English speaking concern & have not bothered to get their translation checked over. A bit shoddy to my way of thinking. I would not put my money into this project, & certainly not as an 'official' laptop.
(I'd be more inclined to go with a recognised manufacturer if you want to fund raise.)
Yes, its because its unknown that its risky. And its because its risky that its a good idea to offer one to Christophe to see if at last its good quality.

BEcause, by now, I have 2 laptops and none of them works out of the box.
Apple is full of success because they did catch what end-users want. Nice and Easy to use

Apple didn't "catch" what the end-users want, they specifically designed the system in such a way that it would run great on the very specific hardware that Apple products use. That is not the case with Linux-based distributions, such as SliTaz.
However, if you have had issues with your laptops, what makes you think the one you pointed out would be any different?

and why do I have a Macbook Air - which I had to buy for my work, running Isadora on it - and I do not use it for daily work?
Because I love to have control over my os - so I use my good now 10 years old Toshiba portege R100 with SliTaz and this will continue until this laptop will be broken.
And this is - I think - one of the main reasons Slitaz exists and not selling hardware - there is enough good used hardware around, which is fully supported by linux + slitaz and if you want to use it, perhaps if you have some brain you inform yourself, before you buy.

If you allow me to jump in, before some misunderstanding generates incomfort for anyone,
Moulefrite, I think the unexpensive LDLC laptops would be a better deal 
@ Kultex, I am sure you will agree your recommandation requires both skills and time, in addition to a brain, which at any rate is always helpful and extremely rarely sufficient, by today's most tasks and standards....
As much as I like my (11 years old) Dell C400, (and I really do!) it is nowhere near to the task of my modest 1.4GHz Celeron for a fraction of the original price (granted, with 2 cores and 4GB of Ram, this probably doing most of the job - !!)

Christophe I agree with you, but for me the solution is to make a hardware database in the guides where we recommand tested hardware.....
This will also help for buying used hardware
by the way, what is a LDLC laptops - seems to be just used only in the french part of the world....

I think a lot of people come to Linux when MSWindows slows down their machines, & they are looking for a speed up, then when they have their Linux machine they realise it is a better OS all round, allowing them to do what they want with their computer.
SliTaz has a quite unique position, as it is one of the smallest useful distros of Linux; & let us keep it that way.

Conclusion ; good quality, but no zoom on the touchpad , average battery and wireless signal.

Come on; even the model with a Celeron would be faster than a i5 with Win8. You should just create a good mix between the Live and the home folder onto the HD

Its me again (1 year ago !) . I still believe that Slitaz should sponsor a netbook and make a dedicaced flavour for it. A netbook of quality but very cheap. RAM should be no more an issue.
A think that a bunch of people are still looking to but a new netbook but are scared to have compatibility issues ( I bought a 400€ laptop and i give up with Slitaz)

If we make a common fund raising, we can easily offer one to Christophe. Then he can make a demonstration on youtube, we can help him to spam and show to the world that its possible to have quality laptop, with elegant gui, running as fast as a MacBook, but for 220€. A perfect demonstrator which will higher popularity of Slitaz.
To summarize my view.
Lets think about it : Most of Slitaz users are man working or student. Most of us are concerned with MS or Apple intrusion in the private life of users. But still, we are all probably not very poor and we use Slitaz more like a state-of-the-art (like a Mac lover) than a recycle-worried guy.
So why are we still running after the past ? Why are we still concerned by the size of the ISO and the RAM used ? Why dont we be just pragmatic and admit that we just want Slitaz running on a lovely toy (last netbook) rather than a 15 years old IBM ? Why dont we make a hybrid ISO (core running in RAM and the read-only on the SSD ?
Slitaz team should think like MAC (vertical) rather than MS (horizontal), and focus on the most actual hardware and the most used softs (for me Slitaz should be Lxde softs, 1 media player and Firefox (Chrome is a spyware)).
We wont use Slitaz for games and we wont use Slitaz for professional work . So what ? We still use MS on a the pro laptop. Slitaz is for a easy, secure Internet surf and for media on a very portable and sexy laptop. Its more like a passion than a necessity.
I know that i miss LOT of aspects of your huge work that i cant even imagine, but sometimes its good for geeks to be remembered what is import for us (for me ?) , simple mortals

Oh, great! Thanks to this topic I finally opened a currency converter and realized that my salary is about 290 Euros for the last month. Not bad at all. It was worse.
I use my "lovely toy" old netbook, and will use it until it dies. Then, most likely, I'll buy a used notebook (laptop) or netbook (if my history not interrupted early).
I think the SliTaz strong side is that it can support a various hardware. Old one and relatively new. We should not be limited to any single equipment.
So, what I wanted to say? Fundraising idea is good. TazBook idea is strange.

My apologies if I am missing out something here but I am currently running Slitaz 5 RC3 on a Packard Bell Dot S netbook without any issues at all - even the webcam works and running Compiz with Cube rotation! Did not have to tweak anything at all apart from loading the uvcvideo driver to get the webcam going. As others, I cannot see the benefit of sponsoring a branded Slitaz machine.
EDIT: In fact, I am dual booting this machine with Windows 10 and the Slitaz outperforms and outshines Windows by many many miles!
