Unable to logon to XFCE

Hi,

I'm trying out Slitaz cooking from a usb and installed xfce4 from repos. However when i logout and try to login to xfce it doesn't go through. I then executed startxfce4 from openbox session but the terminal window just closed itself. Looked into slim.log but didn't find anything related to xfce though there were some icon related errors there.

Any idea what i can do to get xfce working.

Somehow it started working, had done an upgrade before i tried again and it worked, not sure if the upgrade fixed the issue.

I did tazusb which created a rootfs.gz which i copied into /home/tux as well as kept one copy in / and when i rebooted again and mentioned home=usb in boot option it didn't pick it for some reason and gave me a stock session and not my saved session. Any idea if i'm doing anything wrong?
