Hi!
I'm thinking to move from Windows to Slitaz and, as every Windows user knows, an antivirus is a very important program, as well as the firewall.
But I don't find information about antivirus on Slitaz.
Do we need a antivirus on Slitaz? And what about a firewall?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry for my English mistakes... but I think you understood my question.

Hi Sidini
There is no need for an Anti-Virus, that's a Windows illness.
But you should have a Firewall enabled.
In Slitaz 4 you need the netfilter and the iptables Package
and the configuration File is /etc/firewall.conf
Your Router also have a build-in Firewall but no one knows how
trustworthy the Router's firmware is, especially if you got the Router
from your ISP...;)

Agree, your ISP's router firewall is likely to have a 'backdoor' so that your ISP can get into the system.
Hi sixofeight and fatmac!
Thank you guys for the informations.
An OS that doesn't need an antivirus... it's a dream for an Windows user. This excites me to learn Linux!
I'm using Slitaz 5.0 RC2 LiveCD, trying to learn Linux by myself.
As I live in Brazil, the ISPs here are not such as reliable as I'd liked, so I'll install a firewall as soon as I learn how to do it.

Nice website... the first reason to move to Linux: Forget about viruses.
Sorry Bill Gates, but soon you`ll have less one Windows user... me!
Edit: I posted this text using 5.0 LiveCD, and using an internet connection configured by myself! (pppoe)
