VMWare: Slitaz 4.0 VM upgrade to 5RC2 ( Error 8 internal)

SliTaz 5RC2 VM works as a guest on VirtualBox , but my attempts to get it working on VMWare Player via an upgrade from an existing 4.0 VM is giving  - "Error 8 Internal".

After that the 4.0 VM cannot be used anymore.

-What is the cause of the 'internal' error?
