Touchpad not working properly on netbook

I am trying to run slitaz cooking on my hp mini 110-3606tu. Everything is working properly but except touchpad. Actually It is working but not properly.

The cursor moves very fast and the biggest problem is that whenever I try to scroll using two fingers the cursor moves randomly on the screen. Even If I touch the pad with two fingers, the cursor moves randomly on the screen. Guys! Plz help urgently...

I don't quit remember but I'll give you a good start, you'll need a package called "synaptics," and then you need to edit your xdefaults (hidden file) with information about sensitivity and anything else you want.

Re: Touchpad not working properly on netbook

Believe me, I have been struggling with this synaptics thing for past 1 year. I have another laptop and its touchpad never works. I have tried synaptics. Touchpad does not work on any linux distro on my laptop. But ubuntu works with i8042.nomux=1 i8042.reset kernel command. But yes! touchpad works on my netbook in ubuntu.
