Is slitaz mirror down?

Hi all,

I've just installed slitaz 5rc2. I am writing this post using the freshly installed slitaz (many thanks to developers!) I tried to install additional packages. The mirror server seems to be down. or what else???

Issuing a tazpkg recharge command results the following:

----------

root@slitaz5tjp1:/home/tjp# tazpkg recharge

Connecting to mirror.slitaz.org (46.105.127.17:80)

wget: can't connect to remote host (46.105.127.17): Connection refused

-----------

when trying to acces the iso image that I downloaded a couple of days ago I get the following message:

-----------

Error - http://mirror.slitaz.org/iso/5.0/slitaz-5.0-rc2.iso

The page 'http://mirror.slitaz.org/iso/5.0/slitaz-5.0-rc2.iso' couldn't be loaded.

Cannot connect to destination (mirror.slitaz.org)

----------

Has anyone else experienced similar errors today?

Re: Is slitaz mirror down?

yes, I tried "tazpkg recharge" and nothing goes - no Download of slitaz*.iso, no packages, nothing with "tazpkg -gi package".  The server seems to be down.

Thank you very much. Then I will not searching for my fault :-)

Now I'am considering my problem solved.

Re: Is slitaz mirror down?

Thanks again :-)

Meanwhile the default mirror got up.

I have read the posting you recommended. Of course I neither expect a window$ system nor asking for support without searching for a solution on the web. I simply googled for the error message itself which didn't result relevant info.

Now I am glad of your posts, both were useful :-)
