Help Needed with rtl8188su based USB wireless adapter

Hi, I am trying to install a rtl8188su  based USB wireless adapter. I am new to linux and would really appreciate any help offered. I have attached a wireless.txt file as I

Have seen others asked for them with wireless problems. Thanks for any help.

I tried to compile the driver that I downloaded from realtek but can not get it to work.

I tried to follow these instructions which i got from another post but not all of them worked.

As root:

#tazpkg get-install slitaz-toolchain

#tazpkg get-install linux-source

#get-linux-source

#tazpkg get-install linux-module-headers 

root@slitaz:~# tazpkg get-install slitaz-toolchain

slitaz-toolchain is already installed. You can use the --forced option to force

installation or remove it and reinstall.

root@slitaz:~# tazpkg get-install linux-source

linux-source is already installed. You can use the --forced option to force

installation or remove it and reinstall.

root@slitaz:~# get-linux-source

/bin/sh: get-linux-source: not found

root@slitaz:~# tazpkg get-install linux-module-headers

Unable to find : linux-module-headers in the mirrored packages list.

Can somebody tell me what I did wrong here? I am pretty sure that the tazpkg linux-module-headers does not exist in my packages 3.0 .iso. Is there somewhere else i can get it? Thanks.

Try this:

#tazpkgbox

Configuration tab/Mirror Pkgs/DVD Box button/ISO Image:

Browse to and install the packages.iso

#tazpkg recharge

Now see if you can install the tazpkgs.

Hi, thanks for the help. I followed your instructions and came up with this

root@slitaz:~# tazpkg recharge

Creating backup of the last packages list...                         [ Failed ]

cp: cannot stat '//mirrors': No such file or directory

Mirrored packages diff

0 new packages on the mirror.

The first 2 tazpkgs installed fine. It's just the linux-module-headers that I can't find.
