Re: How to have frugal install with persistence of changes?

I am a newbie here and perhaps my question was very basic. I like slitaz because of its small size and elegance without compromising on the features.

I went thru the documentation and I suppose I have to do enter boot option 'home=usb' if I am booting from usb disk. But I am booting from a hard disk partition. Can I enter the option 'home=sda3' (my slitaz frugal install is on sda2)? I suppose the partition sda3 will be mounted on /home.

Thanks in advance.

Only one partition is required on frugal install.

Set bootcode to home=sda2

File tree of tazusb/frugal install with grub:

/home

/home/tux

/home/boot/bzImage

/home/boot/rootfs.gz

/home/boot/grub
