To fix the packages repository issue:

Follow these steps if you suddenly can't download and install packages:

From a Terminal program like Sakura:

1. su to root

2. tazpkg setup-mirror and enter http://mirror.switch.ch/ftp/mirror/slitaz/packages/stable/ as the url for SliTaz 4.0 or enter http://mirror.switch.ch/ftp/mirror/slitaz/packages/cooking/ for SliTaz Cooking/Rolling

3. tazpkg recharge

From SliTaz Panel:

1. Go to http://tazpanel:82/pkgs.cgi?admin

2. Go to Current mirror list and click the arrow next to the mirror address to make it the default mirror

Other Repositories:

stable: add stable/ to the end of address

cooking: add cooking/ to the end of address

@ tous les utilisateurs francophones,

La procédure ci-dessus n'a pas fonctionné pour moi

[*]à partir du terminal, tant que je n'ai pas eu effacé tous les fichiers du répertoire /var/lib/tazpkg (mais pas le dossier "installed")

[*]à partir de TazPanel, tant que je n'ai pas eu effacé tous les fichiers du répertoire /var/lib/tazpkg ET remplacé la langue française par l'anglais suivi d'une fermeture/ouverture de session.

@ all users using french in SliTaz,

The procedure above didn't work for me

[*]from a terminal as long as I did'nt hav deleted all the files in /var/lib/tazpkg (but not the folder "installed")

[*]and from TazPanel as long as I didn'nt have deleted all the files in /var/lib/tazpkg AND changed french language by english and a logout/login.
