I created a live usb using my running Slitaz and the latest cooking iso. When I boot any PC (I say any because I tried this two laptops and one desktop, including the one that is currently running Slitaz), it gets to the point where it's supposed to load the login screen, instead the screen just blanks out. At that point, nothing else works, not even switching to other consoles (using CTRL + ALT + F2, F3, etc.), just a blank screen.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Never mind, I got to the text screen (should have read http://forum.slitaz.org/topic/new-cooking-20110531 first before yelling Help!).
For the absolute newbies, if you are dealing with the blank screen/no response situation, reboot, and when you get to the boot prompt, type as follows:
boot: slitaz screen=text
that should get the box booting and drop you to a text login. From there on, you are on your own figuring out the next steps. Strongly advise reading the post referenced above.
Ps: Alternatively, you can skip the screen=text and replace it with nomodeset directive, and that should get you to a crappy but usable interface. Then again, you are on your own.

I actually overcame this by using:
boot: slitaz kmap=us lang=en_US
