Problem using Firefox

With a lot of help off trixar_za I downloaded Firefox 4.0 from http://www.trixarian.net/ and then upgraded to Firefox-9.0.1 great! But since then i have been unable to follow links such as:

http://doc.slitaz.org/en:guides:read or even distrowatch.com

Without getting the dreaded Server not found!

Could this be a problem from within Firefox?

Re: Problem using Firefox

More how your connection is setup clashing with Firefox's default settings. Go to Edit--> Preferences--> Advanced Tab---> Network Tab and click on the Settings button.

Try changing to Auto-detect Proxy Settings For This Network, No Proxy or Use System Proxy Settings (default) and see which works. If none of them work then it's either your connection that comes and goes or you have iptables installed and turned on (I doubt you've done this so probably not).
