Microphone doesn't work

Hi,

I'm trying to get the Microphone on SliTaz 4.0 working. I tested with arecord and aplay but I can here only crunching.

I have installed these packages:

[c]linux-sound             2.6.37            base-system
alsa-lib                1.0.24.1          multimedia
alsa-utils              1.0.24.2          multimedia[/c]
And I've this Audio device:

[c]00:1f.5 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 02)[/c]

Alsamixer screenshot is attached.

Does someone know how to get the microphone working?

Hi! I'm not sure if this will work in your case, but try this on a terminal:

# alsactl init

And then test you mic.
