Strange SliTaz 4.0 desktop behavior after a hard drive install.
At the SliTaz 4.0 login prompt, if I login as root, then I get both the panel at the top and the menu bar at the bottom.
However, if at the SliTaz 4.0 login prompt I login as a simple user, then I get just the panel at the top.
No menu bar at bottom of the desktop screen!?!
For now, I will be logging in as root. Probably should be logging as a simple user, but I need that damn menu bar.
Help sought. Help really, really needed.
Thank you, Rick Staff
>>UPDATE<< After logging in as simple user and doing an X restart, root now missing menu bar!?!

Hi Rick,

A menu button can be added to the top panel by right clicking on the top panel bar and going through the process of adding a panel item.
The menu button will appear on the extreme right of the top panel, but can be moved by the user.
I moved my "new" menu button to the extreme left of the top panel, which is where I like it.
And that is how I resolved the disappearing bottom menu bar (at least for now).
