Remaster SliTaz - the old way, manually

Does anyone have the docs for step-by-step SliTaz remaster, a la v1.0?

I am aware of Tazlito and Tazusb; neither work in my frugal environment.  Remastering, as I did in v1.0 worked.  HDD went South and no longer have the docs.

Please tell us what you expect by remastering? Because remastering can used to many functions.
