Ok, So I'm sure it's just something simple, but I have no idea what to do.
I've edited the firewall.conf a few times and it isn't showing changes when I.
"iptables -L" in the terminal.
Maybe I'm not doing it right?
I'll give an example...
# Accept input on localhost
iptables -A INPUT -i lo -j DROP
I've changed Accept to drop but it doesn't reflect in the terminals....any help would be appreciated!
I FIGURED THIS OUT ALREADY ^^^^ still need help with the stuff below, Thanks!
Also ; I'll use the internet for surfing and ebay. What's ok for me to "DROP" and what's not?
For instance, I see "Ping" and "unprivelaged ports" Do I need to have these set to "accept"?

Should I add that to what I already have? or replace everything.

You can either replace or just add in the stuff not in there already.
