LiveUSB not booting properly on Emachines netbook

Explains it all really. Tried the USB on my other laptop, works like a charm. On my netbook it boots well, only it stops at the GRUB start up/login screen asking for password, put in either 'tux' or 'root', still works fine, only I don't know what to code, besides, during this process, and Error pops up; 'ACPI: Device [FAN]failed to transfer to D3' Hopefully this is an easy solution to solve.
