Anybody trying for deluged port?

MPD and deluged are great client server applications for music and torrenting respectively. They are very useful to have it on headless setups.

MPD is already there. Would like to know if anybody is trying for deluged port.

Re: Anybody trying for deluged port?

Deluge is already in the repositories. With that, I believe that the deluged daemon is also installed.

Just tested it, it is also installed. So it is already there!

Re: Anybody trying for deluged port?

Yep I think deluged is included in the deluge package.

It's unfortunate that it requires pulling in a ton of graphical (Xorg, etc) software.

But I know a few distributions do this so it may be the fault of deluge.

I have thin clients with small (128-256MiB) flash drives that I don't want Xorg et al on, but deluge pulls it all in anyways.

Great.

But I couldn't find it in link - arm.slitaz.org/tools.cgi?pkgs

I hope we all are talking about deluge on slitaz for raspberry pi.

Re: Anybody trying for deluged port?

Ah, I see. Yes, it may not yet be built for the ARM7 (Raspi) processor. It should work though, but I unfortunately do not have a cross compilation setup. I'll get to it in a minute so I can provide an installation file for you. However, I hope that the maintainers see this as well, and get to it asap. smile
