Which (cooking) package contains the b43 firmware? Rather how do I get the latest b43 firmware?
I downloaded it from Debian and converted it into a tazpkg, but that gives the DMA error, so I have to force it to run in PIO mode to make it connect. I read somewhere that PIO mode is slower and consumes more CPU. Funny thing is, before I upgraded cooking, b43 was working fine.

What about using this page: http://pkgs.slitaz.org/search.sh
- left tab: select "file",
- middle text box: enter "b43",
- right tab: select "cooking",
- then click on the "search" button.
Finally download the package that fits your needs and install it as usual.
Happy slitaz.

Anyway, ensuring I have the latest b43 firmware didn't do anything special. Turns out bcm4312 will only work in PIO mode. Although, I remember reading somewhere that this issue was only with kernel 2.6.36 and older. More importantly, it worked perfectly fine before I ran tazpkg upgrade.
