CPU fan is running high

Hi!

The CPU fan is almost always going on 50%-75%, even in idle. What can i do.

Computer is an HP nq6120.

I installed everything, but i dont know how to do with the cpu setting.

This is my cpu, but it doesnt recognice it. http://ark.intel.com/products/27590/Intel-Pentium-M-Processor-740-(2M-Cache-1_73-GHz-533-MHz-FSB)
