Troubles with geode video driver

Ok just as doku for working on 4.0

My geode boards like Alix 1C or Futro A240 was working with all slitaz versions exept 2.6.37 - it is working with all other distributions

They are working in all distribution eiter with vesa or with geode Xorg driver

so here are some Xorg.0.logs

EDIT: its not possible to attach txt files - is it possible to correct this error, because it should be possible

allowed uploads: gif (100 KB), jpeg (100 KB), jpg (150 KB), pdf (100 KB), png (150 KB), txt (100 KB)

While installing slitaz on many different old machines I found out that apparently, I only suppose that, the 2.6.37-kernel cannot handle some elder nvidia-cards. In the error messages I can see only something with drm. With slitaz 3.0 these troubles do not occur. It was always possible to use

   tazhw setup nvidia --non-free

, even with a very old laptop (Dell), where the 96.xxx-driver was necessary. With cooking it never worked.

michaelbischof can you see if you find something like this in your Xorg.0.log - or just post the error, that causes xorg to fail.

the same error comes with vesa and geode driver - and it has something to do with slitaz, because it is working in all other distros tested up to kernel 3.03 and xorg-server 1.10

Yes, but please wait about 1 hour - I am busy with strange (non-slitaz-) problem.

researching in google I found something in german gento forum with this error - that the cflags are to progressiv - here is something in wok, what happened just in this period between march and june iso- because in cooking march it was still working
