Jack Audio Connection Kit missing alsa_in & alsa_out

hey guys,

like the title says i installed jack-audio-connection-kit and have discovered /usr/bin/alsa_in and /usr/bin/alsa_out to be missing.

compiled and installed the latest official release from jackaudio.org but still i cant find them.

Am i making a mistake here somewhere? I recall them coming with jack..
