SliTaz 4.0 won't detect active and fuctioning wi-fi connection from live CD

Hi guys, as from the title, that's what happened. after hitting scan button in "netowrk", the wi-fi connection wasnt detected (but present and working on a machine next to the one with Slitaz 4.0 live in).

The machine is a sony vaio vgn fs315h, a pae machine.

Also, when unplugging the power, the warining "low battery" was blinking fastidiously and incessantly and in the exact time lapse of the blinking, the keyboard was inactive.

If you can help me, please don't take anything for granted, I'm a noob ;-)
