RPI desktop screen resolution

Yesterday I finally received my kickstarter award from http://hdmipi.com/

This is a nice litte screen which can be used with the raspberry pi, capable of 1920x1080 resolution.

When testing with slitaz-desktop-20140329 I noticed the screen resolution was not optimal.

There is a dark edge visible all around the beautiful slitaz desktop.

Probably I only have something like 1600x900 resolution.

I am working to get this resolved but hints/tips are very welcome.

First observation is that many of the files in /etc/X11/ and below are of zero length.

Is that by design or ...
