I tried the 4-in-1 iso earlier and here's my experience with it:

The Default Live mode and Core mode both brought up the following error:

[c]Out of memory: kill process 670 (getty) score 1 or sacrifice child
Killed process 670 (getty) total-vm:2304KB, anon-rss:56KB, file-rss:448KB[/c]
The process number and KB values are different each time, but the rest of error is always the same.

Core-Basic: Works up to where you select the keyboard mapping and language at the dialogs. After you click OK, it puts the screen in standby mode and doesn't go any further (same problem as with the last rolling). However running [c]core-basic kmap=us lang=en_US[/c] at the command line makes it work fine.

Just-X and Base: Boots all the way in without any issues.

Thanks for the feedback, guess you will have same problem with 4.0-RC1 but I hope not :-)

Has the Tazpanel file editing bug been fixed? I remember in the previous Rolling it used to add %20 at the end of the conf files you edited using it. This made the affected application throw a command unknown error most of the time.

There was also the "Only Root Has Internet Access" bug. Where if you used a 3G Modem or Dial Up connection, the normal user wouldn't have access to connection and all applications (like claws-mail and firefox) would throw errors like you weren't connected. When you run the same application as root (using su or sudo) it would work without problems. Note this is without restarting the said connection at all. This is probably a permission issue somewhere.

I will have a look at it later today and see if they're still there.
