ironing out - kompozer call

Gentlemen,

I have to iron out some problems, which are minor problems. One of it is the fact that under my slitaz-cooking the kompozer program does not start. It is a technical problem so there msut be a technical solution. I just learned that there is a program strace.

My question: is it possible to solve this problem by obtaining a kind of diagnosis using strace?

(Detail problem: My Browser,at leat the tazweb browswer, doesn not permit to attach text files. So this time I try it with Firefox)

No, I just see [denied mime]-what to do?

This is the output of strace when I tried to start the program kompozer.

A funny thing: may be the best Linux in the sense of ,,perfect-out-of-the-box" is FluxFlux, a Live-CD (German) based on Slackware. But the guy who created it, flux, is one of the most experienced and puristic Linuxers that I know. So I booted it up and run from this Live-CD the program, sitting in my slitaz-core hdd installation. And: it worked.

I did a strace output as well - in case someone lets me know here that it makes sense I could deliver that as well. Does it?

Thanks, but in case I have enough time it is a matter of honour to check it out by myself! It works - sorry, I did not know that something like pastebin exists.

Having go curious I just booted up Slitaz 2.0 - and what did I see: this kompozer 0.83.b functions with it without any problems. So my question to the technically more talented guys here: how is this possible? And: can you make use from a strace output like the one I showed?

Background: ok, I can run #ldd <command> and see which libraries should be used. But how can I find out which ones the program did not find?

@-truxar_za: it was very easy to use your method to update firefox to 10.0.2 using your method (starting with firefox 4.0) on Slitaz 2.0!
