keyboard

Hi

Have the new SliTaz cooking and the keyboard is not working, installed on VMware and live CD same problem with both.

Hi

Which keyboard are you selecting? I had this problem with UK English but the US English worked on a live cd.

I can confirm same - UK keyboard and locale not working US is.

try install packager:

xorg-setxkbmap xorg-xf86-input-evdev

and configure in file /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-evdev.conf your layout keyboard (Identifier "evedev keyboard catchall") add line:

Option "XkbLayout" "us"

Having the same problem. Can someone please tell me how I can install the package suggested above if my keyboard and mouse is not working. Oh and yes, I don't have the live cd with me. Is there anything I can add on the boot line?
