Live CD won't boot, keeps rebooting

I'm trying to install on an IBM thinkpad 770 (pentium 233) and when the live CD boots it displays something like

Loading LDM

Loding Kernel

for a fraction of a second, not long enough to read and then reboots. This loops over and over. I have tried both the standard and loram versions with no luck

Well I'm not thinking much of the Slitaz community. It's been a week and not one person has offered any advice!

Really? 4 days equal 1 week?

Tip for when asking for support: Provide as much information (including your hardware specs) as possible and describe your problem in detail while noting all errors down as exactly as possible. Help us help you. Otherwise, you're just shooting yourself in the foot.

Since you didn't provide us with much to go on, I'll assume you're using the first model of the Thinkpad 770 series ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_Thinkpad_770 ) and I'll further assume that your system ONLY has 32MB of RAM. This means you cannot use the normal Slitaz LiveCD (which needs at least 190MB of RAM to work) or the SliTaz Loram LiveCD (which needs at least 80MB of RAM to work). Since you did download the loram flavor, I'll assume you went to http://www.slitaz.org/en/get/flavors.html and noted these RAM requirements. The LiveCD you need that works on 32MB of RAM is called slitaz-3.0-loram-cdrom because it only needs 16MB of RAM to work.

I have a pentium 233mhz with 64mb ram. I did download the version which requires only 16mb ram, I'm not stupid. The message on the screen flashes up too quick to read but as far as I can tell it simply says 'loading kernel' So there quite simply isn't anything I can tell you in this instance other than the disc works on other machines.

Is it the PII or Pentium version? What happens if you start it with slitaz irqpoll or slitaz irqpoll no387 (type it at the Boot, Baby Boot screen)?

Let me just remind you that we are not robots, that we are not paid to spend time in front of PC to stuck on the forums and that also we got a life and a job.

Then please, just be patient when you ask something, and we will offer our support as better as we can and as soon as possible.

These don't work either. Whatever I do it just keeps rebooting.
