aspire 1691 - suspend blank screen

hello

my goddamned acer aspire 1691 enjoys everything of slitaz but.. i can't make it suspend : when it wakes up from the s3 suspend the screen just stay blank.. like if there is a screensaver. Kill Xorg do nothing, but instead xorg everything works fine (ssh connection..)

I put the log from the end of the suspend, i don't understand what this computer just can't show nothing.

hello

i finally find the solution

i had to install radeontool using taz debian converter

then execute that script when wake up after suspend (moreover, i have to do it without screen)

Hi. Thanks to whoever fixed the forum's registration as I’ve been trying to register on the forum for the past 3 to 4 months.

I have an Acer Aspire One AOA110L laptop. A year or 2 years back sudo pm-suspend was working fine. Now It gives a blank screen when I press any button to awake it.

I reinstalled Slitaz and on the very 1st instance of using sudo pm-susend it works and there after 2nd use onwards I get the blank screen. Uninstalling and then reinstalling pm-utils does not work?

I've tested a live boot version of 'Bunsen Labs Linux' installing pm-utils and it works fine on my Netbook. So this means there is nothing wrong with my Acer Netbook.

How do I fix this problem on Slitaz OS?

there is a little trick related to Acer, running on AMD/ati CG, who runs slitaz:

with the blank screen  when you wake up the laptop, you have to go to a tty, to login as user then root, then launch a script i can maybe add later cause i didn't touched to that computer since a year, and i'm abroad until next week so maybe i could find it after...

and this script was putting back screen as normal state, leaving blank state, such as if the computer was just powered-on..

I just upgraded my Desktop PC From Ubuntu 16.04 LTS to Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and am having a minor issue there too.

I logged in to Slitaz tty1 as root and tested pm-suspend and it does not work? I'll need to test that script out to see if it works.
