I cannot what so ever login to facebook for pidgin (which i have always used fine on other numerous linux OS's).
After entering all the correct info, I'm recieving:
"SSL Certificate Error: Unable to Validate Certificate. The certificate for chat.facebook.com could not be validated. The certificate chain presented is invalid"
I have downloaded the correct .pem certificate and tried doing it manually, i still recieved this error.
I read that the updated pidgin versions have fixed this, but i only see the option to install Pidgin 2.10.1 and can't upgrade..

I was able to compile on 4.0 using the pidgin receipt from cooking.
Try this: http://www.mediafire.com/download/pvcm2td5397m2rg/pidgin-2.10.9.tazpkg
[c]tazpkg install pidgin-2.10.9.tazpkg[/c]
