Slitaz updates giving up at random

I've tried to update my slitaz install a few times, but now it's "stalling" out from a virtual machine.  I've been tinkering with OSes all day and this is the first time one would have shown some network issue.

It says:

- stalled -

on the line where it's showing the update progress.  What's going on?

Edit:

I still have no idea what's going on, but if I keep retrying the update process, it eventually makes progress....I don't get it...but at the rate I'm going now I should be done updating soon *shrug*

Once a time I had the same problem, when I was trying to install some packages.

My solution was simply to try to install/update another day. In the day after, all worked fine.
