A)pplications > Preferences >> Desktop Preferences >>> Desktop Icons
allows to select (or not) 3 icons over the "Documentation" icon (trash, documents, connected).
a/ but how to add more icons (my 2 browsers, Xombrero + Midori, as Midori don't block not https connections with my email provider and seems to be dangerous in my opinion) on the desk alt. remove them if not really usefull
b/ idem on the right side of the top bar rigth from "shutdown" icon?
c/ concerning icons in the tray, I would know how to make it myself in JWM but I don't know how to commute to JWM (and back) in SliTaz... I did install JWM but nothing happens! what is to do and how to restaure the setting if not really optimal (how to show icons on the desktop in SliTaz using jwm, that is the question...)?

If you use default SliTaz LXPanel as panel and PCManFM as Desktop Manager:
a) Open Applications menu, hover mouse pointer over menu item that you want to add to your Desktop. Right click to show item's context menu. Click context's menu item "Add to Desktop".
b) Right click LXPanel on free space to show LXPanel's context menu. Click "Add / Remove Panel Items". Click "Add" button. Select panel's applet you need click "Add" button. Selected applet will shows at the right side of LXPanel. To move panel's applets: select it on the applets list, and press "Up" / "Down" buttons repeatedously. Selected applet will move left of right respectively.
c) I can't help with JWM because I not use it.

As Aleksej can't help concerning jwm, I did install it and after that it was possible to select it as favorite application.
After new login I am now in JWM.
It is prepared for use and includes an extremly minimal menu.
-Applications
-- System tools (xload monitor - top monitor - system language - system keymap)
-- Network (retawq - TazIRC) -both are not preinstalled but can easily be installed to complete the functionality-
-- Package manager
-- Nano
-- Terminal
-System
-- Shutdown
-- Reboot
-- Exit JWM
-- Restart JWM
But impossible to find
- the usual /home/tux/.jwmrc to complete that menu
- the way to return to the precedent window manager.
How to do both?

I did solve a part of my questions:
As reboot is available, to return to the LXPanel environment, only restart and in the Session manager Slim, hit F1 (eventually more time until the text "LXPanel" appears), enter into the system and you can choice a different Window manager according to your preference in the same way as you did choice the different one!
In JWM, to have quickly and easily a beautiful Applications manager, only install the package (and dependencies! sorry!) xfce4-appfinder ;-) ... you probably will not need more :-)) ! I did add a link to xfce4-appfinder with the shorter name "menu" ;-) !!!
But the question is not solve: where is the .jwmrc file to add the appfinder icon into the jwm tray (doing that, you can eventually make the tray auto-hidden ;-) in the tray definitions block ! or install 2 trays: one for the clock and the appfinder icon not hidden and one for the usual jobs automatic hidden (you can arrange your tray at the same side of the screen one left, one right, or an one of the other 3 sides of the screen! JWM is easily very flexibel. JWM is able to show a back ground picture without to need an other special application, eventually one picture per screen independantly from the other as 2 are set in that installation, and the .jwmrc can start applications, especially the setxkbmap so that you can forget the problem I did have with the keyboard setting! see pls at the bottom of that file!)! users working with xrandr to turn the screen 90 degre to make landscape print screens have to try the position of her jwm trays. test it before you decide and spend time into a complexe graphic arts presentation ;-) ...
