tazusb writefs gzip

Hi just a question, how does #tazusb writefs gzip work now in rc2 of 4.0

before we only had 1 rootfs.gz now when booting i see 4 different versions

so my question is also why are there 4 different rootfs.gz and what do they all do

is it still enough to do a #tazusb writefs gzip to simply make my own usb modifications and

move rootfs.gz to usb?

Read this for explaination of how 4 in 1 is constructed:

Depending on which flavor is booted anywhere from 4 to 1 rootfs.gz are written to ram forming the root filesystem folder tree.

tazusb writefs gzip copys this root filesystem which is running in ram and compressing it to make one rootfs.gz which is written to mounted /home/boot
