no result after sending any ICON to DESKTOP

Hi guys, I'm running Slitaz 4 on a Acer Veriton n281 (or 282, don't recall).

I don't know when or how (I'm not the designed user of the machine), icons of broswer disappeared from desktop and is impossible now to send any icon to any desktop. After clicking "send to desktop" nothing happens.

Anyone has experienced such problem?

All I would need is an Iron web broswer link icon on the desktop

I found out user has forgot how to proper turn off the computer and has been turning it off from the accension button; possibly this is related with the disappearing of icon link on desktop? (I doubt it, but hey...I don't know) The machine is a Acer Veriton 282g

Open terminal in the users home directory.

[c]cp /usr/share/applications/iron-linux.desktop Desktop[/c]

The shortcut to start iron-linux should now appear on that users desktop.
