TazPkg: what really happened?

Hi there!

I just can't understand the motivtion.

Last commit to the tazpkg:

Commit commented:

tazpkg: Add minor changes to grab wanted.txt, depends.txt, and libraries.txt if they exist in repo.

I wrote an e-mail to the author, he not answered yet, seems he is busy at the moment. So I write here in the hope other developer tells me the reason of this commit.

I not saw these strange txt files. Seems tazpkg will always try to download them and will always get error.

Also, tazpkg not touched and not used / processed these files, so what is the reason to download them?

I googled as well, and found files with similar but not precise names in the mailing list about tazwok, now unmaintained.

And I found old Pankso's commit dated 05 April, 2012 where he removed that code from tazpkg that was yesterday added again:

Fix mirror URL (it can have a traling slash or not) and fix mirror file backup (we dont have wanted.txt depends.txt libraries.txt)

The commit is to slitaz-tank branch.

tazpkg is default.

slitaz-tank branch commits are not added to default.

Question why tank's tazpkg is different — is beyond this topic.

Then users not touched with these “404 Not Found” errors in the terminal, good.
