repositories

Hi, I am just trying to understand slitaz and the best way to install software.

here "http://doc.slitaz.org/en:newsletter:start?s[]=dovecot" it says that there is a package for dovecot but I do not see it in the package manager. Do I need to include some repository ? It is more or less an install from the little live cd.

Hi,

Are you using 3.0 ? Did you first recharge the list of packages ? The packages you found is an official packages since Ibiblio mirror the project. Dovcote is in cooking:

$ tazpkg -s dovecot

thanks, yes it is 3, it is just slightly different to OS I use before so I have some new words to learn.
